OWL Flash! Route – Fun climb, this cave reminded me of a limestone columns of the giants!

Beefcake Route – Loses a star as it’s hard not to venture into some average rock left of the anchors. All the rest of the climbing is classic at the grade.
Laisse en contenance Route – Really cool roof boulder and lower tufa. No chance on the onsight, punted 2nd shot and sent 3rd.
Helter skelter Route – Wild at the grade with a steep hanging tufa. Felt really hard.
Helter skelter ext. Route – Dogged this one to check it out. Bouldery moves leaving the anchor to get the ledge rest and then hard moves leaving the roof and up the tufa. Would be classic if the anchors were 3 bolts lower, pointless climbing the shit rock up high.
Owl flash Route – Punted the onsight. Cruised it 2nd shot.
Ex utero Route – Such a cool line. The torch was flat and the the logbook was on the ground.

Beefcake Route – Soft Tom’s Tufa Top Ten! Skipped two bolts…one by accident having so much fun in the tufa’s and one due to the super pump at the lip.

Ex utero Route – Incredible line. Loved the book of notes and the torch in the cave
Inner smile into ex utero Route – Felt super hard, but really beautiful
Mnemosyne Route – The crux was nice climbing and completly defined the grade…many loose rocks on the approach and the section above

Beefcake Route – This crag is another one that hardly seems worth the steep walk up. Very short routes, like this one: 10 metres max and very easy. Started chucking it down and got soaked. The decent was pretty dangerous in the rain. Crap day!

OWL Flash! Route – Very soft for the grade but cool moves!

Beefcake Route – Nice and a bit pumpy tufa-and-jugs climbing. Skipped a clip due to a wet ledge at the end.

Moonage Daydream Route – Burly start but the crux is several harder moves on the wall below the chains 7a in the 2018 guide and it felt solid even at that.
Child in Time Route – A good line but very bouldery crux (V5 possibly) on undercuts with sub optimal feet. You aren’t going to jugs either! No chance of redpointing once sun came round
Beefcake Route – First time up a “tufa kneebar explosion” brought a swift end to proceedings, luckily the chunk of tufa missed Dave! No giveaway at 7a with a hard finish above the lip.

Helter Skelter Route – I went a bit right which in hindsight was a mistake and made it trickier than necessary… OK route, good warm up, but not a classic!
Owl Flash! Route – Where did 6c+ even come from? Probably hard 7a but could be a soft 7a+, in my opinion… Fell on the onsight attempt after getting the wrong hand in the upper hole, went 1st rp despite not being able to feel my fingers. Did a second lap on it at the end of the day for ‘training’…

Beefcake Route – End of day to get the draws out. A great piece of climbing with a tricky exit at the top
Glykouli Route – Horrible polished foot holds at the crux. Felt very hard for the grade

White Tufa Route – Fantastic moves up the white tufa. First RP after working, heart-in-the-mouth finish!
Owl Flash! Route – Lovely crux

Alissa en Contenance Route – Boulder problem finish after a nice 7a. Felt ok on the dog but too feeble to do it after the easy first bit!
Soul Sacrifice Route – Grabbed last draw as last move felt hard and a fall straight into the tree wasn’t appealing.

Child in Time Route – One savagely reachy move around 3-4 bolts up off of skin wrecking undercling; not a first day route!
Beefcake Route – Good fun route with a bomber rest at 2/3rds. Not as pumpy as it looks. Felt soft for 7a, but very much my style.
Helter Skelter Route – Easy fun climbing.

OWL Flash! Route – Cruxy route on polished (‘cause deep down in the cave) rock with distinct crux at the traverse. Might seem very easy for the strong, but the grade is probably spot on.

Beefcake Route – Super beautiful steep Line. Climbing on a couple of fat tufas. If you find the kneebar nohandrests its easy for the Grade.

Beefcake Route – Ulterly brutal climbing to start, some goodish rests in holes mid-way but then power move to super tricky ‘terrain d’aventure’ finish. Very physical. The grade is very open to question. is it because of the shorter length and the rests?
