Shortly after Tiros (7km) on the main road to Leonidion can be found the village of Pera Melana. Built on a hill above the Kisaka beach, this is a beautiful tradition village. A small gorge divides it’s two neighbourhoods.

The neighbourhood of Pera Melana, and a smaller neighbourhood found slightly higher. Several beech and cypress trees surround the village, while a small stream leading to the sea runs through the whole village. A stone built well guides visitors to the higher neighbourhood.
